Our last day in Quebec. The sun came out for a lot of the day. This allowed me to take some better pictures of downtown Quebec.
One of the hightlights of the day today was the final speaker. Mark Black is a double lung, heart transplant receipient who has also run 3 marathons and a few half marathons. It was an amazing story. Even without the marathon angle his talk was very inspiring. 1) Choose to focus on positives, 2) live today 3) Go big (or stay home) 4)Choose to refuse to quit... that is the 4 cornerstones of his message.
The other highlight was our dinner out with the PA contingent. It was a really nice evening with really good food. There were about 25 or so of us but instead of being all at one table (where you really can't talk to everyone anyway) we were at 4 tables which was much more intimate and made conversation much nicer. I was able to get to know two newer AE's and reconnect with 2 others.
It's not real late right now but we have an early day tomorrow to drive home. Hopefully I'll have pictures to show you before the end of the wee.
Thanks for reading.
