On Sunday October 3rd I will run the inaugural Hershey Half Marathon.
On Saturday, October 2nd family and friends will run Laps for Lexi to raise money for pediatric cancer research. The event is in honor of my niece Lexi who died of cancer earlier this year. Lexi was 8. I cannot particpate in Laps for Lexi so i've decided to dedicate my Hershey Hal f Marathon to her and to ask friends and family to donate $1 for every mile I will run that day. That's a total of $13.10.
I just decided this a few days ago. It' is giving me renewed motivation and confidence to run a good run on Sunday October 3rd. I'll let you know how it goes.
