Yesterday I saw a woman, my neighbor, dragging a tree branch along our street. This was at about 7:45 am as I was getting into my car heading to meet with my USAfit/Philly friends. As she moved closer to me I could see that it was something like bamboo. Does bamboo come in branches? I always picture it as stalks. I wonder what she was going to do with it? I really should have asked. How else will I learn things?
Today we went shopping. That in itself is an interesting story. I wonder what someone would think as they saw us empty our trunk upon returning home. Here is what we took out:
- Three books
- A bottle of whitener mouth wash
- M&M's
- A bag of grass seed
- A bag of lawn food
- A hatchet
- A rolled up cylinder containing a map of the US and one of the World.
- Printer cartridges
At the Target (where we purchased the M&M's and whitener wash; neither of which being what we intended to buy) I saw a small child about 4 drop his cup and say "Uh Oh".. I LOVE when little children say that. I know it often means something not pleasant but it is so cute!
Today I made reservations for Dave and I to go to Florida in September to see the final shuttle launch. This is someting on my 'bucket list' so to speak. We will combine it with the annual "Birthday Baseball" trip and see the Tampa Bay Bucs play (and hopefully beat) the Yankees.
