Today we drove to OC for the day. It was a gorgeous day here and there. I skipped my run this morning and we decided to have breakfast at Litterers. By time we arrived we were both starving but it was worth the wait. Dave had 2 pork roll and egg sandwhiches, I had one sausuage and egg sandwhich.We walked the boardwalk, people watching, kite watching, ocean watching and generally just soaking it all in. Dave bought a sweatshir tand a baseball cap. I have a new pin for my hat! We played Goofy Golf and I won by 2 strokes AND I got a hole in one on the last hole. Of course that means a free game so we just HAVE to find time to go back again this year! Yeah, like that will be tough to do.
We checked out the Scarborough Inn where a group of friends - all turning 50 in 2009 - will spend a long weekend in July. It looks like a really nice place! I am looking forward to it.
When the meter ran out on the car we headed to Cape May via Ocean Drive. All the shore towns were bustling with summer visitors. We returned to Somers Point via the GSP and had dinner at the Point Diner.

Skipped your workout? Wow! Good to see you have NJ-ized Dave with Pork Roll and egg sandwiches. I live here and still haven't developed the taste. Have a fun Memorial Day!
