Despite our attempts to influence the outcome (see picture of big shoes stomping on a UNC jersey) it was Nova that got stomped on. It was a fun season and a good run while it lasted.Here are some more pictures from our evening with Nova friends.

In other sports news, the Phillies split their weekend with the Rays. Pat Burrell received a hero's welcome. Friday night was Pat Burrell recognition night and he received standing ovations each time he came to the plate. Both teams played with designated hitters on Friday night. On Saturdy bot teams played without designated hitters but Pat Burrell started the game with a lead off home run for the Rays then was taken out of the game.
