Candian Thanksgiving

Yesterday was the annual family gathering for Canadian Thanksgiving. The weather was very cooperative although this is an indoor event more or less. Dinner consisted of the usual Turkey, mashed potatoes, and stuffing. We also had green beans, corn, cranberry sauce and pineapple casserole. No seemd to mind the lack of rolls which I deliberately did not do. First, there just isn't enough oven space and timing to fit them in and second...look at the menu. They really are not necessary! Personally, I ate way too much as it was.

Deserts were brought in by family. We had "Make Your Own" sundaes, chocolate chip cheesecake with caramel topping, and cheerio-craisins treats (think rice crispie treats but the only similar ingredient is the marshmallow).

In total we had 20 people at two tables. Jimmy, we missed you! Here are some random photos of the day.

Hi Amy!

Yes I did. Everyone always gets to see the 'formal' picture and I know you children prefer the silly ones! I'm glad no one fell down the hill.

I just noticed that I'm the only one not being silly. That's a first! :)
