12 .....

..... Days of Christmas
..... Eggs in a dozen (ok not just eggs...)
..... Numbers on a clock
..... Villanova's seed in the NCAA Tournament

I think a lot of us were suprised that Nova got in. Not complaining, mind you, but it certainly wasn't guaranteed.

What was even more exciting on selection Sunday was 8 teams from the Big East (Notre Dame, Pittsburgh, Georgetown, Louisville, Marquette, Connecticut, West Virginia are the others) and THREE teams for the Philadelphia's Big Five (Temple and St. Joe's being the other two).

I'm looking forward to some great games. I'm just not sure what to do about the office pool. I'll have to decide if I can afford two pools - one to follow my heart and one to follow my head.

Stay tuned!

As one who has lost a lot of money on NCAA brackets going with my heart and VU, I'd say go with your head if you want to win. Of course, if I had said that in 1985.....maybe lighting will strike twice!

Hi Mark, It is 1985 that makes me think twice about going with my head and not my heart... you just never know. More and More I'm leaning toward two pools - Paulaheart and Paulahead.....

Well, I guess Paulahead was right this time! VU did an awesome job coming back last night. Amazingly they will be the higher seed on Sunday against Siena. I wonder if they even brought their white uniforms?
