To Jacuzzi or not to Jacuzzi

I'm not really a fan of Jacuzzi's. It's not that I don't like them, I'm just not a big fan. So it was ironic that my room upgrade was the jacuzzi. So here is what happened.

We arrived in Greensburg (no navigational errors) around 3:30 this afternoon after a successful morning presentation. At the hotel desk, a very cheerful clerk greeted us and mentioned that our rooms had been upgraded. She did not say why but did it really matter why? Hank, being in a childish mood asked, "Is my upgrade at least better than hers?". "Well, she got the jacuzzi", said the clerk. I grinned, made a face and stuck my tongue out at him. :) :)

When I told Dave the story he said, "You should have let Hank have the jacuzzi room. I know you won't use it". And generally he'd be correct. But I had been chatting with some running friends about a nagging pain in my right calf. I am running in the Gettysburg Marathong on May 1st and have been trying to decide the best course of action. Anyway, one of my friends said, "Get in the Jacuzzi" as a solution. So I tried it.

Time will tell if it helped. But I suppose it didn't hurt. Still not a fan though. I mean I just dont get why people go all ga-ga over them.

I'm a jacuzzi fan, although I haven't been in jacuzzis too often. I think the jets of hot water are relaxing--hope it helps your calf muscles!
