Getting closer

Two weeks from Sunday we will be on our way! :) I reserved the rental car this evening so all the reservations are in place except the shuttle to the Airport for our return home and one night stay in Vancouver. I have the name and phone number of a shuttle service that appears reasonable. However, since we will be staying at the same hotel on the Wednesday that we arrive in Seattle (it was a very good rate) I will wait and ask the hotel if they have a recommendation for getting to the airport. They may know something better. We also do not have a place to stay offiically for our one night in Vancouver on the way back through town. We left that open on purpose since we do not know exactly what is happening there. Finding a place will not be difficult though.

The next two weeks are going to fly. This would usually not be the case when waiting for something exciting but we have so much to do! Dave is away at PIAA conference this weekend. We have gumpops tickets for the Phillies game on Sunday. I leave for State College on Tuesday and will return on Friday. I am going for a state Asoociation Executive conference. I was asked to be part of panel presentation there. After returning from that we have one week until we leave.

We will spend that week gathering things (yes, on the dining room table) that we will take with us. Our wedding anniversary is on Thursday (10 years) and we have tickets for the Phillies game that night. I want us to be 99 packed by Friday night because on Saturday after I return from my running group we will head up to Meg's for sibling barbecue (I promise to shower first gang). And then on Sunday we will leave!

Tomorrow I hope to sit down and make a list of all the things we have to do before Sunday the 23rd both for the trip and other day to day stuff so we won't forget anything!
