Does anybody remember that show? You'd have to be about my age or older to remember it since it was on in the mid 60's.
"Two American scientists are lost in the swirling maze of past and future ages, during the first experiments on America's greatest and most secret project, the Time Tunnel. Tony Newman and Doug Phillips now tumble helplessly toward a new fantastic adventure, somewhere along the infinite corridors of time." (Thank you, Wikipedia)
I guess I've been in a time tunnel kind of mood this weekend. Looking back and all. This morning I saw an Easter Bunny in front of a restaurant on 252. It reminded me that when we were kids my grandmother took us all out to dinner (all 23 grandchildren, their parents and Aunt Miriam). I'm pretty sure the dinner was at Edgemone Golf Club. Then we went to Uncle Joe's (does anybody remember how to get there?) for an easter egg hunt. I believe the cut off for the easter egg hunt was 12; under 12 you were a hunter; over 12 you helped an under 12. I won one year. The special egg (wrapped in tin foil) was in the extension of the downspout in the front of the house. It fell of twice; once when I actually found the egg and one when I re-enacted the discovery for the home movies. Why do I remember things like this? I remember one year we had to postpone the easter egg hunt because it snowed. I remember the dresses my mom made. Blue and white and made of the itchiest material known to man. I'm sure that was the beginning of my aversion to getting dressed up. However, I did like the family gatherings..... a lot. Which is probably why I remember stuff like that. :)

Daddy was telling us at lunch yesterday about how you would all rush home from Uncle Joe's every Easter evening to see the "Wizard of Oz" which was on at 8:00--and then have to get up for school the next morning. :)
