My niece Amy, tagged me for this. It's harder to do than you might think......
1) I am the oldest of 6 siblings; 4 girls and two boys
2) I am severely claustrophobic
3) I am often too serious; I need to remember to smile more
4) I graduated college with a major in general science and a minor in business administration
5) My favorite food is potatoes; all kinds. (Most people already know that about me)
6) I ran a Marathon in 2008
7) My favorite clothing is a t-shirt and jeans or shorts
8) I played field hockey and lacrosse through junior high and high school
9) I also played basketball until everyone got taller and I didn’t
10) I would like to visit Greece some day
11) I love to drive with nowhere particular to go (gas prices have put a damper on that hobby for now)
12) My favorite color is green
13) My nicknames over the years have been pooh, fish and dork – all given with affection if not a bit of amusement and mostly earned
14) I really do not like the song that goes “Hey, Hey Paula, will you marry me?”
15) I really do like the song “Brown-eyed Girl” because it reminds me of early one Saturday morning driving in the car with my children. I thought they were asleep because it was so early and they were not really happy about being up so early (for a DR appt.) but then “Brown-eyed Girl” came on the radio and we all started singing it and then laughing.
16) I’ve only been skiing once in my life and I decided that was enough.
17) I blew up my chemistry experiment in 11th grade. One stitch under my right eye
18) My favorite get away place is the beach
19) My first crush was in third grade, but I can’t remember his first name, only his last. It was Doyle.
20) When I was in 9th Grade, I was a huge Flyers fan. I used to sign my name (Paula) with a Flyers logo for the P. (See, I really did earn the nickname, Dork!)
21) Growing up, I wanted to be a doctor; a pediatrician to be exact.
22) I am old enough to have seen the Phillies win two World Series Championships
23) I have three grandchildren; they live in Kamloops, British Columbia
24) I have touched a glacier in Alaska
25) I am a fairly decent body surfer

Hmmm... Wasn't there a cello in your distant past somewhere, too? I mean, if you're going to talk about things people don't know about you... :)
Did you really blow up a chemistry experiment? That must have really hurt. I'm not taking chemistry for another two years, but I'm not looking forward to it.
I think I knew about 3 of those 25 things.
See you tonight!
