Washington Crossing the Delaware

The re-enactment of Washington Crossing the Delaware didn't happen........again.....yesterday. And it didn't happen last year either. And about 3-4 years ago when Dave and I drove up to see it didn't happen either. Each time it is bad weather - heavy winds or raging river - that prevents it. If George had been that squeamish the original crossing never would have taken place. In defense of the re-enactors though, George didn't have to worry about his boats running into a bride that wasn't there in 1776! LOL
